In CLANED® boards are subdivided into “modules”. These are a way to organize your learning content into thematic, time-based or other sensible structures. You should think about modules as a table of contents. Modules provide an overview of what is to come and are therefore important element that supports the learning process.

1. All boards in CLANED® get created with a default single module, titled “Module Title”.

Locate and click the 3 dots next to the title “module” and select “edit” from the menu.

2. Once you select edit a pop-up window will open allowing you to change the modules name and give it a description.

  • Give a descriptive name

  • Add a description about the module. You can add learning goals, write an overview of the module, and give instructions.

3. Editing module visibility

Under “Module visibility” there are 3 options:

  • Published – Content visible and accessible to learners.

  • Hidden - Content hidden and inaccessible to learners.

  • Scheduled – Module will be hidden until a specified time & date

4. Editing module sharing under permissions

  • Allow users yo add content to this module - let’s you make some modules collaborative – meaning learners can add content to them such as assignments for peer- review.

7. To change the order, click the “Rearrange modules”

  • To move them around simply click on the title of module you want to move and drag and drop to the desired location.

  • Click on the rearrange modules again to hide the modules.
