There are cases where you may need to regenerate certificates, such as when there is a mistake in the certificate template or in a learner's name. The system allows you to regenerate certificates for all learners or for an individual learner.
How to Regenerate Certificates for All Learners
Ensure a Certificate is in Place
A certificate template must already exist in your course.
Upload a New Certificate
If there is an error in the current certificate, upload the corrected version to your course.
Always double check the template by using the "Download preview"
3. Regenerate Certificates
Click on the Regenerate Certificates button.
This will send a new certificate to all learners who have already earned it.
How to Regenerate a Certificate for an Individual Learner
Ask the Learner to Correct Their Name
Sometimes, learners may have mistakes in their names that need to be corrected before regenerating a certificate.
Instruct the learner to update their name using THESE steps.
Regenerate the Certificate
Navigate to the Track tab.
Click on the 🔄 icon next to the learner's name to regenerate and send the updated certificate.
