Your browser has a specific way of alerting you to issues accessing content on the web. Below is a quick explanation of the most common error codes that may appear when using Claned, and what you should do when this happens.

403 Forbidden: This means the server won't let you access something, usually because you don't have permission or you need to log in. You may be confronted with this error code when trying to view assessment results for an assessment that has unpublished by your course administrator. This may also occur when you are trying to open a board via a link but don’t have access to that board.

  • Action to take: reach out to your teacher or course administrator.

404 Not Found: This means the server can't find what you're looking for, usually because it doesn't exist or the URL is wrong. For example, this happens when you are trying access content or boards that have been deleted.

  • Action to take: reach out to your teacher or course administrator.

500 Internal Server Error: This means something went wrong on the server's end that's preventing it from giving you what you're asking for. It's usually a technical problem on our side.

  • Action to take: reach out to Claned support at [email protected] and provide a description of the issue (when it occurred, what you were doing before it happened)
