What is SCORM?
SCORM stands for Sharable Content Object Reference Model. It is a standard that defines how e-learning materials should be packaged and structured to be compatible with different LMS systems.
SCORM files are ZIP-formatted packages that contain both learning content (e.g. videos, text, assignments) and metadata that enables the transfer of information between the content and the LMS.
Instructions for adding a SCORM package:
1. Create or open the desired board
Create a board in the "My boards" tab and give it a descriptive name and description.
SCORM is a content element, meaning it must be uploaded to an existing board
2. Click "Add content" within your chosen module
This will add the SCORM package to this module.
3. Select the SCORM content and click "Choose files (.zip)"
4. Give the content a name and check its settings
Give the content an informative title and a description with instructions, if needed.
Select "Requires completion" if you want to ensure the SCORM package has been 100% completed before the "Finish" button appears.
